Hi, I’m Brittany Madruga, the founder of Peaceful Petals. As a late-diagnosed autistic woman with ADHD and anxiety and a parent raising a neurodivergent child, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges families face in finding spaces where children of all abilities can feel safe, supported, and celebrated. Over the past 17 years, I’ve worked with individuals of all abilities in schools, clinics, and communities, designing programs that foster social-emotional growth, sensory engagement, and inclusion. This journey, both personal and professional, inspired me to create Peaceful Petals. I am so excited to welcome you!
At Peaceful Petals, our mission is to celebrate the beauty of neurodiversity by creating sensory rich, nature inspired environments where all children can thrive. We are committed to fostering growth, connection, and empowerment through inclusive sensory play that supports creativity, social experiences, and behavioral and emotional regulation.
We envision an environment where every individual is valued for their unique strengths, perspectives, and contributions. By nurturing a culture of empathy, understanding, and respect, we aim to cultivate an environment where everyone- students, educators, families, and the wider community—can thrive and grow together. Through the power of collaboration, creativity, and collective advocacy, we are dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of every individual by embracing the blooms of neurodiversity.
